Strange how Penkki didnt complete one pass to his WR1 Coleman ??!
all the balls in the directions of Coleman are:
Paris's ball on their 32 yard line. First and 10 to go. 1:14 left in the
second quarter. The score is Scottish 16, Paris 21.
The pass from Paris's QB1 #11 Petrus Penkki was knocked down by Scottish's S2
#23 Willie Pile. The pass was intended for WR1 #88 Chris Coleman. Second
and 10 to go. That was Pass medium left (1094) against Pass medium (1098).
Not much for a WR1
when Kreinhagen was QB1, Coleman made 27 catches out of 64 completions of Kreinhagen = 42%. for 348 yds (total Kreinhagen was 718 = 48.5%)

Interesting to see how the software does things like that isnt it ?
Coleman was Kreinhagens favourite target by far, granted its only one game (and i'm sure it might be a one off) but i cant believe how few time Penkki threw to Coleman. Penkki hasnt played with Coleman before but has enjoyed success with Masato Itai in the past and as proved by the long bomb he caught from Penkki.
Be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks.
I love seeing players go through their FWL career, Penkki was a long term backup and has two FWL Bowl rings, then of course the QB at the helm of a terrible Austrian team thanks to a crazy GM, (
http://www.fwl.org.uk/alltime.htm#ppenkki
), and went through two tough years of starting there.
I thought he would be a career backup for Paris but hes done well in spot appearances and is a 'wiley veteran'. 17 td's and 5 ints the last 4 seasons. I think Penkki could have been an exceptional QB, as a backup with Austria he threw 16 td's and just 3 ints in 5 seasons. Then of course the Austrian team was torn apart, and Penkki went through those tough years.
Came out of the tunnel though and has done well with Paris. Didnt put up huge numbers this week (probably didnt practice tons as he wasnt expecting to start !) but did well with that 4Q bomb to Itai for what proved to be the win.
Cant believe its his 12th season ! Did well as a former 4th round pick of the Surge. One of the players traded to Sacramento from Austria was DE/LB Brett Fields ! Brilliant career he had with Montreal

Well you still did well though, a very close game and you were away. Ohio are a very good team who had the toughest start to the season (New York, Austria, Montreal - all undefeated still)
Surprised how well they shut down your rushing attack , yet again nice to see Payton get a touchdown ! Looking forward seeing him at HB1 sometime in the near future.
Lytle did well and only dropped the ball once. If it wasnt for Pochmans nightmare you probably would be 4-0 not that it helps
Huge game for you next week against Austria. You are at home which is a huge advantage but it should be a classic !

The best thing to come out of the game against Scotland was Robert Edwards' performance:
14 runs for 129 yards and a TD
4 catches for 125 yards and another TD
He had a 74 yard run and a 74 yard catch. Not a bad day's work.
Unfortuantely, my best player at the moment seems to be the punter - averaging over 50yards per kick, net average is best in the league!

pfff.... i do not know how to say it in english but what i just did was to create a huge hurdle for me to climb over. if i fail (means: defeat vs. LON), the whole league will laugh at me after my remark.
but hey. it is me. controversial as ever before.... and yes even without Jackson i am very confident. And Moore will do his thing....
CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!
PAUL! LET US DO WEEK 5 TOMORROW!!!!!!

Well i would say its going to be a close game Mario, as you know home teams often play better.
Austria are 4-0 but 3 of those wins were at home, the one away game was a 15-10 close game in Rhein.
In Londons only home game so far they defeated the FWL Champions Frankfurt. On the road so far theyre 2-1 which is a good start.
I'm surprised you think you would win so easily, its normally harder to run the ball away from home and with Jackson out of the lineup you'll be starting a new player. Sometimes those new players off the bench dont come in instantly and have huge games.
I think the game will be close, if anything with the homefield advantage i would go for London
I mean last year you were 2-5 on the road, London despite a horrible season were still 3-4 at home and despite being 3-10 last year they won in Week 14 against you at home in overtime.
Like i say Londons record of 3-1 is still impressive considering they've played just one home game

last season, Amsterdam and Barcelona where the only ones who where better away than at home.
so:
1) Paul is basically right that there is a home-advantage (which has something to do with "EN" as we discussed long time ago
2) Seems to be an Amsterdam jinx? Maybe the fans in your stadium are not loud enough?

not really an amsterdam problem this year since my whole divisions did not win a home game so far
Amsterdam, Rhein, Berlin 0-2 and Frankfurt 0-1 at home
Fans!!!!!!!!!! oh we have them if we win ofcourse! that is typical an amsterdam thing! (named in Dutch: amsterdams publiek = amsterdam fans) big part will arrive late, they always go away early to avoid the traffic jams (which are always caused by the people that go home early) stop make noise when they are lossing, stop going to the stadium when their team is lossing and they always complain about everything even when they win big.
interesting fact is that in season Ajax sold 42,000 season tickets but the avg number of people was around 35,000 (lowest att number of the season was 22,000)

Yeah Amsterdam are one of the few exceptions where you seem to do better away than home !
As for fans sadly most of them are the same. Here in England the majority of fans seemed to support Man Utd when most of them lived no where near Manchester ! They just like glory, same with a lot of NFL fans who supported San Francisco as they were winning all the time.
Sadly when you are winning the bandwagon fans come out. I'll support my team whether theyre 0-16 or 16-0, if you experience the bad seasons then it makes it even better when you start to win again.
Man utd fans are unhappy if theyre 3rd in the league, 100's of teams would love to be in their position 'moaning' that they finished 3rd !!
