GM Austria DarkKnights

« on: September 01, 2005, 08:43:27 AM »

AFC:

Can anyone stop New York? It is quite early in the season and some teams still have to shift to a higher gear but the Knights look impressive and could de-throne Montreal in the AFC with the best defense in the league (just 26 points conceeded..)
Birminghams loss to Barcelona might be a sign that they are indeed in a big slump, whereas Ohio faces the "real test" next week. If they beat London, they might recover. But if they start 0-4? Boy oh boy....
Raleigh? Hmmmm........ Maybe in 2 or three years? Nevertheless: Mark did a great job and will earn the fruits of his work. But not this season.
Sacramento and Orlando are back at top-level? Not sure....... I would rate Mexico and of course San Antonio higher

My current prediction for playoff-spots:
New York - Montreal - San Antonio - Ohio(?)

My current prediction for dead-last in the AFC:
Birmingham

EFC:
Berlin display horrible games, devastating, a shame for a last-season-playoff team, whereas SCOs and PARs slump might have come expected (well: PARs slump was not really expected but they seem to be among the worst this season....)
On the other side of the table we find the DarkKnights and London. Kreiner worked his peep off to get a winning team but this explosion of performance comes one or two years too early and might not last long. But London? Hey? What happened there? GM Jason did nothing but complain about his tons of QBs and finally he has got a 3-0-team? A miracle. Amsterdam, Rhein, Barcelona and Frankfurt battle for the playoffs and i still think that Frankfurt might be the strongest EFC-team as the season has just begun.

The real story behind the curtain is that the EFC West seems to become the stronger of both divisions as London easily beat Frankfurt and Austria beat Rhein. Watch them beat Amsterdam and nobody will talk rubbish about the EFC West anymore....

My current prediction for playoff-spots:
Frankfurt - Austria - Rhein - London

My current prediction for dead-last in the AFC:
Scotland

@Mario: what do you have against me or my team  Huh you are now already posting weekly how bad my team is! I never said I have a great team or that I will beat everyone! I am playing this game for fun but your way of posting lately against my team is getting very irritating

Cmon Niki what is wrong with you?

Read below:
Amsterdam, Rhein, Barcelona and Frankfurt battle for the playoffs

And yes it is my opinion that London and Austria are stronger than Amsterdam so:
Watch them beat Amsterdam and nobody will talk rubbish about the EFC West anymore........as AFC West Teams would then have already beaten all Top-Teams of the EFC EAST: FRA (by LON); AMS (by LON and/or AUS); RHE (by AUS) and BER (by AUS)

Get it?

here you more or less write if EFC west teams beat Amsterdam people will not say they are rubbish. Like Amsterdam is the best team in the EFC east! I think it was Frankfurt who is the team to beat in the EFC since they won the FWL bowl last year

So you say i am picking on you because i say you have a GOOD team?  Shocked
that is strange ......

i never said that you have the stongest team in the EFC East but you are a contender there...... and you where in the playoffs......

and ok..... so let us see at the standings.... EFC East leader is........  Cool

so?

ok: here is what i would call "picking":

"Despite beeing number 1 in the EFC East right now, the Admirals perform ridiculously. Obviously misscoached by GM Van den Berg it was nly pure luck that they survived two games without a loss. Amsterdam, who many think is the worst team in the league, has no potential whatsoever on both sides of the ball and Austrias backups will destroy Admirals starters anytime, anywhere...."

So THAT would be picking on another team, my friend, not by saying "Amsterdam is fighting for the playoffs...."

Over and out.

Niki, that's just Mario the Rabble-Rouser talking about Niki the GM. In the FWL world.

It's like a sports reporter saying

"The Bears aren't as good as Jerry Angelo obviously thinks they are," because Angelo didn't sign a top QB or bring in a free agent cornerback or whatever it is the reporter thinks the GM should have done, not necessarily because of anything the GM said.

The Dark Knights are built on cruelty and bad manners, but Mario isn't insulting the "real you." Smiley
