FWLers,

i lost track regarding my participation in the FWL. Did i participate 6 or 7 seasons so far (NOT including the current one).

Paul thinks it was 7, i think it was 6....

I started in season #1, won the Bowl in #3, finished #4 and than i THINK i dropped out just to return at the start of season #12. So that would make:
#1-4 and #12 and 13 ==> 6 seasons

Paul thinks ist is #1-5 and #12 and 13 ==> 7 seasons.

but the "GM-stats-file" records 6 seasons for me as GM of ADK.
i am confused. can anyone else give me a hint who managed ADK in season#5???
I just cannot remember ever having drafted a player like "DE Beauchamp" which was Austrias #1 pick in season #5?

if i indeed finished season#5 my GM-stats are wrong, correct? But maybe someone elses as well? Bruce Henderson? David Bridson? Ross Mather?

confusing.

any ideas???

Perhaps the GM stats are wrong . I'm sure Bruce Henderson just took over for one year, hardly did a thing, won the FWL Bowl then left the league.

I'll try and look through my old email i have stored when i have time, Bridson obviously took over for 2003-2004 (Season 7/8).  I'm positive you drafted Beauchamp, Ross didnt take over Austria till after Bridson for sure.

Plus if Bridson had any draft picks he would have drafted total busts.  You may have left after 5 seasons and then the other GM probably did the draft ?  http://www.fwl.org.uk/drafteos5.htm

End of Season 5 really means the start of Season 6 so i'm sure Bruce Henderson took over, did the draft that year and ran the team then the laughable Birdson drafts occurred.  http://www.fwl.org.uk/drafteos7.htm was a terrible draft and 1st round pick QB Carlos Alrimirano one of the worst draft choices ever.  I remember David said best QB by ST and IN.

QB         Alrimirano, Carlos       OK     R     52 55 64 86 69 71 85 76   As you can see he did have great ST and IN but nothing else !

Funnily enough you see him on the FA scrapheap at the beginning of Season 8...

Jason Compton is the only GM that London had but he is only at 12 years!

Yeah well i'll have to change that, obviously i do that by hand and there are a few errors on it no doubt !

Arent Jason, Marco and Miguel the only GM's of their teams since the FWL started ?

I've had multiple teams !  Used to be co-GM of Orlando, started with Raleigh also. 

Jason and Marco must be the only GM's here since day 1 who are still with the same team.

yep, it was 5+2 seasons AND the GM-stats are WRONG....

btw: is there ANY stat correct right now besides all the stats from the current season(s)?

The GM page i have to do myself and is a bit of a pain to do.

The records page is bugged and unless we do it hand by hand week by week i cant see this ever getting fixed.

The career stats are totally correct

As for the Hall of Fame, just havent had time to do this.  If anyone wants to do this feel free.  I had an idea of what i wanted it to be like but it'll basically be the same as alltime.htm but with a picture of that player.  As alltime.htm has really all the stats you need plus a writeup i cant see what else i can do for the HOF pages apart from add a picture

I write here often but the time it takes to create proper FWL articles and upload them or figure out srecords.htm i just dont have time for at all

i was here 7 out of 13 seasons and every season i played i was twice as active as any other GM. so 13 awards would be just fair

i know that you do a lot for the league and i did NOT in any case want to "point the finger at you". i just wanted to say that i am scared that we lost track.... which we obviously did.... which is very very frustrating as the stats do not reflect the history of the league anymore - or let say it just reflects parts of the history.....

i would be willing to help to restore actual data if that helped....

Well i'm sending a CD to Andrew as hopefully he might be able to fix things.

As for genman.htm i do that by hand and i only started that after about 5 seasons so a lot of that was from memory.  On the whole its correct

srecords.htm has been corrupted for ages, in other leagues they dont even use this but for now i've kept it up there

As for the stats it would be a HUGE job to try and fix it by hand it really would
