What a difference a year makes (in Europe)

Talk about a reversal of fortunes. Last year was all EFC East, all the time. Austria, the West division winner, only managed a .500 record.

This year, the West could have two 10-game winners and the East could be won by an 8-6 team, whereas a West team could go 8-6 and miss the playoffs.

Trivia note: The EFC West hasn't had two 10-game winners since Season 6 (Austria/Barcelona.) The only other time was Season 2, when it was Austria/London.

More trivia: When the EFC East was five teams, in neither year did the division have two 10-game winners.

The five-team AFC West, on the other hand, has done it three times, most recently in Season 12 with an astonishing three teams with 10 or more wins (SA, MON, SAC.)

I think the Montreal Machine winning side of that year is probably one of the best teams of all time.  Had i think one of the hardest schedules ever yet still won it all.

Looking at the dvisions i thought Austira would be rising up as Mario is so active and after a few seasons i thought he would be winning again.  Frankfurt have rebuilt well, they had a bad start to this year but do look very good

I think Rhein and Berlin are approaching a rebuilding stage, definately Rhein.  Berlin showed this week what they can do if they have a constant rushing attack to help the offense.  Michael Black wasnt having a huge year but he was far better than Omar Bacon who showed so much promise two years ago but now looks very poor. 

I think teams such as Austria and Mexico will get even better as they are young teams, scarily also New York.

San Antonio i know Jasons very loyal to his players so i'm sure for the next few seasons its Bishop/Alexander/Williams/Looker which is scary !

Montreal have done a good bit of rebuilding in past years, changing HB and the d-line and some young players at LB.  Wuerrfel still is a great QB but sooner or later age will catch up.  Interesting to see the teams change in the FWL
