Its a long way off yet, teams will trade players the next few weeks, there is the draft and then training camp so many teams could change their rosters but lets have a look at the Week 1 games....

Ohio at New York

Great chance for NY to show who really is boss in the AFC as the Glory were surprise AFC Champions last year.  As usual Ohio have a nightmare opening month (A NY, A MEX, H AUS, H SA) and this game in New York will be very tough.

Birmingham at Orlando

One of these two teams will want to come out of the blocks fast, Orlando have the advantage being at home but who will they start at QB ? Birmingham looked good late last year and will want to carry on momentum

Mexico at Montreal

Tough game for the Aztecs, can Montreal bounce back from their AFC Championship loss last year ?  Important game for both teams in the AFC West.

San Antonio at Raleigh-Durham

The Riders felt they should have won it all last year and will want to start off fast, Raleigh can surprise people at home but with their current squad even at home the Riders should win.

Sacramento at Barcelona

The Surge have a QB controversy yet again on their hands as do Barcelona.  Chad Hutchinson looks the better QB but veteran Dameyune Craig might get the start.

Berlin at Paris

Berlin are the golden oldies of the league, they travel to Paris who just missed out on the playoffs last year.  Who will start for Paris at QB ?

Amsterdam at Scotland

The Claymores looked great late last year behind their backup QB Jonathan Quinn.  Amsterdam lost some depth in the offseason but are a quality side.

Frankfurt at Austria

The DarkKnights will want revenge for last years EFC Championship win by the Galaxy.  A fast start is wanted by both teams here and the tiebreaker could be crucial further down the road

Rhein at London

Can Rhein bounce back from a poor season last year ?  Will London stop fumbling ?  Will they start a new QB ?  Could be GM Comptons final season if the frustration gets too much.  3 home games in his first 4 will help with a quick start

Week 9: at Barcelona
Week 10: at Frankfurt

Circle the date, FWL fans.

Strange schedule London has, on the plus side though you then have 3 home games out of your last 4 games which could prove vital

Then again one home game in 6 games in the middle of your schedule is tough

Don't apologise, Mario, you've actually given Jason the highest compliment possible!

I guess that explains why Mario gets so impatient about trade offers he sends me when it's 4 AM.

I know Mario Smiley

The first couple ofweeks are allways tough for me, as I finetune my team.

Also I am accustomed to loose against Austria during the regular season.
As well as I more often then not then win in the playoffs against Austria
and I think in the end that is what matters Wink
