The draft looks pretty good to me.

yep.
Paul put in some pretty good players after the initial announcement of the "class of draft #14". Before that the selection was rather balanced with no high-flyers...

as it has been said below (i guess by David) there are appr. 20 possible "top picks" now which are standing out and most of the could be picked in the top 5 if the given team needs that kind of player.

after having had a closeer look at those players the quality of draftees somehow remind me of last seasons quality of draftees. not many immediate starters but a couple of very good prospects who will dominate the league in a couple of seasons....

looking forward to the draft (as in fact i only got 2 picks in rounds 1-4 and that is #3 and#5 i only needed to list 5 players - which i already did..... not hard work...)

Good luck for the draft to anyone....

Yeah, wish I had more picks this year.  But, I can't complain.  I had a couple of very nice drafts back when I started my rebuilding of the Aztecs and had tons of draft picks.  Those players now have 3 or 4 years of experience and are ready to break out. Grin

Come on people lets stop the bickering !!

As always when you just read something online its very easy to take something the wrong way, also remember Marios first language isnt english so some emails/comments may come off as being rude but theyre not meant to be.

I 100% wanted to increase the rookies, i didnt think i had time but in the end i managed to just before i left for Xmas.  This wasnt to do with Mario or anyone else moaning about the skills, its true some drafts will have some great players, others will have a weaker year

I actually want to have some decent rookies as i personally think its increases trades and peoples interests if theyre coming off a poor year.

Either way its a very difficult thing to do to get the balance right, sometimes they may be too good, other times perhaps not that great.  To me personally i think most of Round 1 and half of Round 2 should be good enough to start.

Anyway i'm just looking forward to the live draft and having a good time with the FWL draft before the next Wildcard games on Sunday

Yep the live draft is excellent.  Hope we have a lot of people turn up

Also hope we get it done in 2 hours as i want to then watch the NFL playoffs !!

Even though my team isnt in the playoffs the atmosphere of all the games is brilliant.
