The last few weeks  Shocked 3 punts blocked in 4 weeks by 2 different punters. This week we get 1 blocked then block 1 of the Dragons but allow a huge P.R for a T.D. Talk about up & down

blocked punts where really a pain in the ass before i took a break, nowadays the number of those are a a realistic level.

could be a slow punter.
could be a poor snapper.
could be a poor D-Line (check backups as well!)

Yeah, there were a couple of guys who had ridiculous nightmare seasons (including ex-London punter Brian Greenfield) with >15 blocked punts per season.

Strange how you've had a lot of blocked punts, if you see the season stats (eg sseason12.htm ) for the last few years there hasnt been many.

But looking at your punter with 62 SP and 62 AC hes not the fastest punter in the world so he may take a fair bit of time to make the kick, if you see the speed of other punters (eg Montreal) the SP/AC is much much higher

Yeah he's not great but Lindsey was cut after 2 blocks in 2 weeks(at least 1 probably costing a game) & he has Sp & AC of  74 73

Yeah good point, forgot about Lindsey.  Sometimes it could be your blockers protecting the punter, getting OL's with good SP/AC (as well as strength and other factors !) is very vital.

I'm sure its the standard OL who are out there for punts.  Punt returns/kick returns use a lot of backup players (and starters) so its always useful having some fast CB's/WR's/LB's as it should make your coverage better.  See how it goes this week or theres always P Barry Cantrell who has decent speed.

Sometimes a player just goes through a bad patch, Lindsey has had several blocked in the past but not multiple ones in the same season

Sorry but the blocked punt is mainly a result of having DLmen with high SP,AC.
Remember one of the all time best punt blocker Steve Emtman Wink

Its another point in the game where too fast DLmen can ruin the realism.
Of course a slow P is helping these DL to get a block and bad OL may get beaten
more often, after all its a team sport Smiley
