The playoff picture is getting clearer but theres still some important games coming up...

Sacramento at New York

Sacramento have lost an amazing 6 straight games after opening up 5-1, HB BJ Askew has been very disappointing and despite playing well Jake Delhomme hasnt had a win in 6 weeks.  New York have the #1 seed and may start cruising but fans will want a win at home, if NY win their last 2 games they tie the all time FWL best 13-1 regular season mark by just a handful of teams

Birmingham at Ohio

Great game here.  Ohio are at home where they are 3-2 and the injury hit Birmingham Fire arrive in a huge clash.  If Birmingham win theyre in the playoffs, if Ohio win then it could be down to tiebreakers in the final week of the season.  Ohio have an advantage as they are at home but Birmingham are still a very strong side.

Mexico at Orlando

Orlando have looked much better in recent weeks, as have Mexico but mistakes have killed them.  QB JT O'Sullivan might be benched this week so that Mexico can look at Chad Hutchinson in the final two weeks.  Something has to give, Mexico are 0-6 on the road, Orlando 0-6 at home, QB Tony Romo has looked explosive.  Could decide the #1 overall pick

Raleigh-Durham at Montreal

The Skyhawks have looked much better the second half of the season, they could still qualify for the playoffs but its a very very longshot.  Montreal are the AFC West winners and might start their backup QB, theyve won a lot of close games and dont want to take Raleigh for granted.  Raleigh at 5-7 are having their best season for a while and could be a challenger next year.

Berlin at Frankfurt

Tough loss for Frankfurt last week as they looked flat against Amsterdam.  Berlin under QB Nate Hybl had a great game, despite no rushing attack Hybl was impressive.  Frankfurt badly need this game as a loss could kill their playoff chances.

San Antonio at Rhein

Big game for both sides, Rhein can still quality for the playoffs but need a win here, San Antonio need one win to make the playoffs and the Riders looked good in a great 4Q last week, if only they can play the whole game like that.  Could be a great clash.

Austria at Paris

The decision to bench HB Robert Edwards was a bad one as the whole offense stunk with no rushing attack.  Paris are 3-2 at home and play well but Austria will be looking to seal the EFC West title with a win here.  QB Ryan Dinwiddie faces his former team Austria.

Barcelona at Scotland

Big game for the Claymores, they were upset by London last week but they face Barcelona who are 0-5 on the road and a win would guarantee them a playoff spot.  Scotland were hurt by the loss of TE Nachi Abe last week and need him back fully fit.  Barcelona have been disappointing the second half of this season and have lost 3 straight.

Scotland by 7

Amsterdam at London

London have won two straight games and are playing much better, they are good at home compared to away but Amsterdam are 6-0 on the road.  Amsterdam might ease up a bit but two wins in their final two games helps them match the all time FWL regular season record.
