Most of the time, if you win 8 games in a FWL season, you go to the playoffs.

Paul just joined the unlucky winner's club in unusual fashion by splitting his wins between two teams in the same season (neither of which made the playoffs.)

It's happened before, though.

Season 2: Scotland (Ronnie)
Season 6: Amsterdam (who would this have been? Ton? Lorne?)
Season 8: Ohio (Ron Hetrick, I presume)
Season 9: London (yours truly)
Season 11: London (oh, look, another dubious loser record for me to hold, I'm the only two-time honoree), Amsterdam (Niki this time.)

Interesting that it happens more often in the EFC than AFC... of the six _teams_ to miss the playoffs with 8 wins, only one is AFC.

I am sure it is Ton, he told me the story like a 1000 times or so Smiley
