London Monarchs GM

RODGERS ON HIS WAY OUT ?

Despite a great rookie season and a Rookie of the Year award overall number 1 pick QB Aaron Rodgers of Raleigh has been sensationally offered for a trade.  Rodgers started slowly but after a brief benching came back very strong and the Skyhawks had an excellent finish to their season.  So why is Rodgers being offered for trade just as the team seem to be turning the corner ?  Perhaps Raleigh want to get stronger in other areas and might have confidence still in backup and former starter Travis Brown, could be interesting to watch.

ORLANDO LOOKING TO MAKE CHANGES

Assistant GM Josh Roberts joined Orlando a few weeks ago to help with trades for the Thunder.  Already Josh has been talking to many teams out there and there could be some big changes coming Orlandos way, despite an offense which ranked in the top 10 and a defense which was one of the worst and the slowest there is talking coming out of Orlando that Tony Romo might be offered in a trade.  Romo has great skills but has never settled down in Orlando and fans have not taken to him.  Thunder legend Jon Denton still is a fan favourite despite being in his 11th year.

LONDON SET AT QB ?

Despite the London coaches saying BJ Symons is their starting QB for this year there are rumours that the Monarchs may look for a big name passer.  The team is torn between starting the young passer or trading for another QB such as Rob Adamson.  However Adamson also wants to start and wont be content as a backup so it could cause some friction with the team.

TATUM BACK FOR JUST ONE MORE SEASON ?

11th year pro LB Kinnon Tatum should be the all time leading tackler this year, he needs just 24 tackles to take over the #1 position from Ernie Short.  Tatum has refused to say whether he would come back for a 12th year, if he did he would set an incredible record of 1000+ tackles, something which has never been done before.  This year to get to 1000 Tatum would need 105 which seems a bit out of reach for the 11th year LB.

STAMBAUGH OUT IN NEW YORK ?

Sounds shocking but it could be true.  There are rumours current FWL MVP Phil Stambaugh might be offered in a trade as the new management feel very confident with backup Marcus Crandell.  Stambaugh has been one of the top QB's the last few years and was FWL MVP last year after a brilliant year.  He cant seem to get to the FWL Bowl in the playoffs but a new team could bring the best out of him.  Could be a very interesting offseason to watch if QB's such as Stambaugh, Rodgers and other big names move.

Yes it is true Rodgers is available for trade and there seams to be ALOT

of interest in him so it is possible he may leave the Skyhawks ( for the right

price Smiley )
