With training camp approaching us soon and with a wealth of QB's in the FWL who will win the starting jobs ?

New York

Stambaugh, Crandell, Campbell

At one stage the new NY GM was very high on Marcus Crandell who is an excellent QB and backup, it seemed he might get the nod over Stambaugh ! Stambaugh is playing the best football of his career so far but he pressure is on for him to get to a final.  3rd stringer and former high round pick Jason Campbell is very good and is the future of the franchise.

Orlando

Romo, Denton, Kingsbury

Who will win the job this year ?  Probably Romo but Denton is a fan favourite.  Kingsbury is another former 1st round pick who has talent and could challenge for the starting role this year or next.

Ohio

Pawlawski, Kittner, Navarre

Pawlawski is one of the best Ohio QB's ever and has taken his team to the FWL Bowl final.  Kittner will probably take over from Pawlawski in a year or two or at least challenge him for the starting job.

Birmingham

Burford, Ward, Hall

Burford is an excellent strong QB who took his team to the AFC Game last year and should get even better.  Backup Ward is a great veteran backup and 3rd stringer Andy Hall a promising young player for the future.

Sacramento

Adamson, Delhomme

Adamson has a lot of talent but hasnt been given the chance to start in the past.  Delhomme was a surprise starter last year and played well on the whole but enters his 11th year.  Might be Adamsons chance to start this year.

San Antonio

Bishop, Van Dyke, Stoerner

GM Hink is a very loyal GM to his players and Bishop might carry on starting till he retires.  Van Dyke is a very good young backup.

Mexico

O'Sullivan, Hutchinson, Williams

All 3 QB's have started for Mexico in the past, O'Sullivan started for several seasons but is erractic.  Hutchinson came over last year and played very well for Mexico but will have a challenge on his hands from O'Sullivan.  Williams is a former starter but has to be content with the #3 job now.

Raleigh-Durham

Rodgers, Jackson, Brown, Clausen

Surely 4 QB's wont stay on the roster ?  The job is Rodgers the former #1 overall pick but Munro hinted in the offseason he might be traded.  Jackson is a quality backup who could be very good for any team in the league as a backup.  Travis Brown started the first two years of his career but has done nothing since, has talent but never won in Raleigh.  The dust will be on him in Raleigh if he stays there.

Montreal

Wuerffel, Ragone

Tough decision for GM Harwood.  Wuerffel is a hugely successful QB but Ragone was very good in his one start last year.  Wuerffel should carry on starting but Ragone will keep pushing.

Frankfurt

Davey, Thompson

No competition here, Davey is a great young QB but badly needs a big name WR to help him.  Since Thabiti Davis was cut the team have struggled passing the ball.  Thompson started one year for Ohio and is a good veteran backup.

Berlin

Hybl, Gesser, Berlin

Hybl the former 1st round pick finally gets his chance, very talented he will need some weapons around him though to be successful. Rookie Berlin should win the 2nd QB spot as Gesser needs a lot of work.

Rhein

Pegenaute, Greene, Allen

Pegenaute is very underrated but keeps playing well year in year out, the only QB the last 4 seasons to have a 100+ rating.  Greene is a very talented young backup as is rookie Allen.  Greene may start in the future but will be given a battle by Allen.

Amsterdam

Rylance, Hamilton, Orlovsky, Chang

Many rate Joe Hamilton as the best Admirals QB but Rylance is the best fit for their system but enters his 11th season.  Young backups Orlosky and Chang need a lot of work.

London

Henson, Daft

Henson the top pick this year will start practically all year but the team will give Daft a start to see what he is capable of.  Henson looks to start for the next 10+ seasons

Scotland

Nall, Quinn

Nall used to reguarly battle Quinn for the starting job but Nall has played very well the past few years.  Nall on paper looks to be very impressive and should have another great year trying to take the Claymores one step further.  Quinn is a great backup but the 9th year pro seems destined to be a backup forever now.

Barcelona

Craig, Abrew, Arth

Interesting battle here.  Abrew and Craig are two long time veterans, Craig is the former starter who got his job back last year.  Craig should hold off Abrew this year but who will start in the future ? Arth isnt good enough and the team need a young QB.

Austria

Anes, Mauck, Symons

Another mess here.  Anes is the QB who has just won the FWL Bowl and had a career game against the Admirals in the playoffs.  So why is he being pressurised by two young promising backup QB's ? Mauck is very good and almost identical to Symons who the team surprisingly traded for.  Mauck like Symons could start for many teams out there.  Symons arrived over from London and was great in two late season starts last year.  He wants to start but it might be another season till he really challenges Anes.

Paris

Dinwiddie, Lytle, Priestley

Two former Austrian backup QB's are now in Paris.  Dinwiddie came over last year and played well and should be the starter for many years to come so the decision to bring in Priestley was a bit of a surprise.  Could be a great young backup if Lytle hangs up his boots after this season.  Lytle played well before losing his job to Dinwiddie but at this stage the 10 year veteran will probably be a backup but with his great skills he might get a surprise start.

I can confirm now that Rodgers will STAY with R-D and that Brown and Jackson will have

to fight out the position of backup with Clausen as a Long term backup for the future. So

it does look like I might have 4 QB's on the R-D roster Roll Eyes

SURGE GM

The Surge have stated that a starter will not be announced until after training camp.  Although, the organization did say that there is a competition for the starting job so Adamson does have a shot to start for the Surge this season.

In Austria, FWL-Bowl-MVP Curt Anes is set as a starter but i can guarantee that if things go very well during the season BOTH backups will get their chance and will start one game.

I even consider to start the first game of the season with either QB2 Mauck or QB3 Symons - could be the first time ever a QB3 starts the season!

So there is a lot that the press can write about in the next couples of days and weeks............

Mario !  Yes its your team so you can do what you want but i love it when things are realistic

In the history of the NFL no defending Superbowl champion has benched their SB winning QB the following year.  Baltimore did change QB's and went with Grbac but Dilfer wasnt benched

You have a great chance to repeat, doing your crazy QB changes or sign a veteran QB and he starts etc might ruin the flow of your team

Sup to you though !

(btw: just relax and be happy that you have GMs that swin against the usual flow, so at least the media has something to talk about.....)

Could be a few shocks regarding Orlandos starting QB this year!

There's no shocks in New York with Stambaugh set to remain QB1, the only decison to be made is whether to promote Jason Campbell to QB2, with one eye on the future, the added responsibility of being immediate back-up could raise the youngsters game.

Campbell looks a very good prospect and someone who can eventually take over from Stambaugh some point in the future

As for the Orlando QB's it'll be interesting to see what they do, after last years poor season they could start Kingsbury as they have nothing to lose but then again last year the offense was great, defense terrible (Old Dan Marino Dolphins type of team)

Could be some interesting moves coming up
