There arent so many veteran players in the FWL in recent years, in fact there is only one 12th year player in the league and thats Barcelona QB Dameyune Craig.
http://www.fwl.org.uk/alltime.htm#dcraigCraig was actually a 1st round pick of Barcelona but was traded immediately to Scotland. In Scotland he started slowly but had a great second season with 16 td's. The next few seasons statistically didnt seem great but Craig took Scotland to the playoffs 3 times, a year after reaching the EFC Game he took Scotland one step further and they went to FWL Bowl XI. Scotland fell to Montreal but it was a great year for the franchise and for Craig.
However just a season later he went from the penthouse to the outhouse in Scotland. Just a season after leading his team to FWL Bowl XI Craig was sensationally traded to Barcelona. The next year Craig was on fire, he threw for nearly 4,000 yards, 23 td's and 9 ints as Barcelona had a great offense. He backed it up the next year with an impressive, 3,700 yards but threw just 13 touchdowns. Last season he won back his starting job from former Dragon Chad Hutchinson and breathed fire back into the Dragons offense later that season.
This year he will battle fellow veteran Alli Abrew for the starting position. Craig is currently 4th all time with over 31,000 passing yards and needs just 86 passing yards to overtake Stoney Case to become 3rd all time. He is 4th all time with 138 touchdown passes and is one of the best in the business even in his 12th year.
Craig should win the Dragons starting job this year but may look to retire next season. It only seems like yesterday when Craig was drafted by the Dragons back at the end of Season 3.
