After losing another EFC championship Amsterdam is already looking forward to season 17:
QB
Finally Joe Hamilton was able to win the QB battle of Heath Rylance. Rookie Timmy Chang is now in a battle with Rylance to take over the back up position. It is possible that Rylance will retire after the season or be traded.
Running backs
With Joe Smith and Jeronimo Huerta Amsterdam have two running backs that can have a 1000+ rushing season. After TC Amsterdam will decide who will play at HB1 and who at FB1; With ReShard Lee (1 year), DeJuan Green (rookie) and Joe Haro (3 years) Amsterdam has three young and talented players on the roster. When Nicolai Moskovkin will retire, it most likely one of the picks will be used to draft a running back.
receivers
WR
With Elijah Thurman Amsterdam has another big WR. He was able to forget the retirement of Trevor Insley. With his second 1000+ season he showed he is not a one day fly. Adam Herzing has become the new punt return specialist of the Admirals, as well as a good target for Joe Hamilton. Mavin Allen (2 years), Skyler Fulton (rookie), Ben Nelson (3 years) and Kassim Osgood (1 year) will fight in TC for WR position 3 and 4. Eljiah Thurman is with his 7 years the oldest WR of the Amsterdam. GM Niki van den Berg announced that no pick will be used on this position.
TE
Kirk McMullen finally showed on the field the quality he has. With 53 catches for 819 yards and 5 td's he has been very important for the Admirals this season. Rookie TE Wesley Duke has played better than expected. If Duke will develop the way he did this season he will take over McMullen position within 3 years.
Oline
The oline played well this season. Since most players are still very young they will play even better next season. Only minus point for next year is that starter Bryce Brubaker might retire.
Kicker and punter
Todd France is on his way to break every kicking record of the Admirals. After three seasons he already has the highest % made FG's and PAT's.
Punter Adam Anderson had a very good rookie season, next seasons he has to show that he is a better punter then Matt McBriar
Dline
The big star here is Clint Mitchell. He was finally able to switch to DE position after Favern Williams was good enough to play at DT1. All players are young and very talented. This one the only position where an injury does not hurt the team.
Linebackers
The only position of the Admirals that is getting old. Only 6 LB and two of them are already playing there 10th season (Ortiz and Slutsky). Since LB's Tito Rodriguez, Marc Megna, Terrence Robinson and Richard Adjei are good enough to start in (most) other teams. It is expected that Ortiz and Slutsky will retire after this season and that in the draft 1 and most likely 2 picks will be used for this position.
DB
All of them are young and talented. Only Mustafah Muhammad is old. This player was only signed after 2 players were injured for a longer period. Most likely that Muhammad will retire of released after the season. Most likely that Amsterdam will use 1 or 2 draft picks to get the nr of DB's in balance.
