Columbus Ohio - New General Manager/Owner Gary Schofield Jr. and Head Coach Doug Plank addressed the media Tuesday morning outside the Ohio Glory corporate office in downtown Columbus.  "Our staff is very happy with the outcome of our first draft in the FWL.  We had to battle computer issues all day as our new office is still undergoing much needed improvements.  However, due to the great support of the commisioner and feloow FWL owners, we believe the first day of our draft to be a huge success.", Schofield stated.

Schofield went on to explain that the first goal of the front office was to radically improve the Offensive Line.  "We think we have a great running back and great leadership at quarterback, we just need to give our players the time to make plays in the passing game and now we can!"  The Glory has added rookies OG Rob Hunt and OT Mike Johnson as well as veteran FWL champion OT Rob Murphy to the Line.  Doug Plank stated that the entire line would be re-positioned to maximize their individual strengths and that the team has great depth and balance.

Schofield concluded by adding that the team was close to completing a deal to bring the break-away threat at WR that would further help solidify the passing game and give the offense more scoring punch.

"We are far from done and with each small step we are getting closer to returning to Glory!"
