Uh, I know that SAT had a great defense and all, but I think the entire American Confernece would like a review of the All Pro Team Awards at DE and DT instead of a clean sweep.

DE  Johnathan Browning (SAT) 34, 12.0
DE  Matt Walters (SAT) 30, 7.0
DT  Christian Ward (SAT) 35, 12.0
DT  Sandi Solakovic (SAT) 28, 11.0

Might I suggest:
DE Paul Spicer (MON). 41, 13.0  Played for MON/MEX, so all in conference
DE Demoine Adams (NYK) 36, 12.0

DT Bernard Rozic (ORL) 33, 12.0
DT Rameel Conner (OHI) 49, 14.0
DT Troy Brown (MON) 26, 11.0, 2 FR

SAT was 7th against the rush, and 12th against the pass, 2nd in sacks (61).  Their 266 PA was only 5th best.

Oops the Berejniouk one was my fault.

As many of you will know the software sometimes creates some very very strange choices.  It often puts some EFC players in the AFC and vica versa

Now before anyone accuses me of cheating i checked the season stats for top rushing team in the AFC which was Orlando (their C1 was chosen by the computer), so for C2 (It had originally chosen an EFC player) i saw Sacramento had the 2nd best rushing offense so i put Berejniouk in at C2.  The problem was i was checking the Season 12 rosters at Week 1 (When he was still on my roster) so i put him down.  San Antonio had the 3rd best rushing offense this year so i'll put their C down at C2 on the All-FWL team.

As for the d-line being made up of entire San Antonio players that was strictly 100% a Front Page Sports Football decision so i'll leave that one.

The software adds 'All-FWL' points to each player for lots of differnet reasons, eg winning which i think pushed all those SA players into the starting position.  I only changed about 3 players from the All-FWL team (as like i said the computer chose AFC players for the EFC team and vica versa) but the d line wasnt one of them so even though its a controversial choice to have all those players from SA its what the computer chose and like the previous 11 seasons i'll print what the computer has put.

Some very strange decisions though and its a pity that winning teams get a huge preference.  From the others on the list Rosic didnt make the playoffs, Conner played for a 4-10 team (but should have made it i think) and Brown i presume just missed out.

Spicer played for Mexico for a few weeks before going to Montreal and Adams of the Knights had an 8-6 record.  A bit like the real NFL where the fans vote the fans vote mostly for their players on their teams or players who are in the playoffs.  The software does the same, however if a player gets 19 sacks and plays for a 1-13 team i dont think that matters but i just put what the computer says !

I think this the wrong decision.  I really think this is where you should step in and say "you know what, the game is wrong".

Just my 2 cents.

Let me add 2 more cents to make it my 4 cents... anyone want to check in with their opinion?

Doesn't 4 DL, all from the same team, not all with the best stats, generated by the computer seem wrong when there are many other deserving players?

I do get your point but i dont know enough about how the game rates players.  I know each player after every game gets a number of 'points' and the ones with the most at the end of the season make the All-Pro game

However for the past 12 seasons i've taken what the computer says to be 'correct' and when the computer makes some weird errors (Eg an AFC player in the EFC team etc) then i make just those changes.

The problem is i can only really see tackles or sacks for a d linemen nothing else.

In the hon7.htm All-FWL team i had 3 of the 4 defensive line from my team playing in that game so you could say perhaps that was an error.  In Season 9 you had the 6th best defense but had 6 players on the All-FWL team (Probably had that many as you allowed the least number of points) but look at London, top defense in the EFC yet had only 3 players in the All-FWL team (all secondary) despite having the 6th best rush defense in the league.  The secondary was brilliant that year but so was the d-line/LB's but not one player made the team despite the defense finishing 3rd overall.

I do totally get what you mean but because every season i've always put down the computers choice (apart from weird EFC/AFC mix ups) i just keep with it because of existing years.

Bit like people saying star players shouldnt retire so early, unretire them and play them till year 12 or 13.  Thats an ok idea but its not fair for past GM's to have their stars retire etc.
