Jamal Robertson called a meeting with the new Barcelona Dragons GM Phil Schofield. The meeting was behind closed doors and lasted more than an hour. The two emerged from the conference room, shook hands, and parted ways. Jamal Robertson was enthusiastic stating, "I had a rough year last year, but I wanted the new boss to know that I can be the back that he is looking for. I expect a return to form from a few years ago." When we finally caught up with the GM, Schofield quickly stated, "Jamal is our starting back, but we have a talented pool of backs that will be called upon if the thin ice he is treading on cracks." The GM concluded the interview, stating "its time for football guys, time to go to work."

The talk must have worked, he had a good game rushing in Week 1, wasnt used so much later on as Barcelona went to pass instead of run as they were trailing

Barcelona, Spain - Barcelona GM Phil Schofield spoke with the media this morning following thier recent loss at home. "I am pleased with several areas of the game. Tony joined his team, did relatively well, but it will take some time to build a rupport with his receivers. He just met his tight end, and had limited practice time following the trade. I am confident he will be the leader we believe he is. I am pleased with Jamal. He told me to put faith in his abilities and he would not let us down. He looked great." When asked about the special teams play, Schofield grimmaced. He told us that there was going to be some movement in that area. "I wont be making changes every week, but that performance belonged on a Pop Warner field." Barcelona is not the pushover they once may have been. "We will be in every game."
