London Monarchs GM

LONDON

Earlier in the year the team lost TE Jeff Nicholson and this week they lost another starter in FB Ben Miller who was having a superb year.  Miller was injured and gone for the year and has been placed on IR, in his place the team signed veteran FB Charles Wiley who has played for Barcelona and Sacramento in the past.

BARCELONA

The team could be fast approaching a 0-14 season due to its dire defense.  The team have allowed over 40 points in each of the last 3 games yet there have been no changes made on defense.  The secondary is very slow, the team do have some good LB's but the defensive line is playing very poorly apart from one or two starters.

RALEIGH-DURHAM

The loss of HB Curtis Alexander is a huge blow to the Skyhawks.  Alexanders pursuit of all time records is one of the few things Skyhawk fans had to look forward to.  Alexander is 5 rushing td's away from tying the record and more frustratingly 153 yards from tying the all time yardage record.  Alexander will have to wait till next season.  The 2nd overall pick from last year Jackie Battle looks to get his chance.

SCOTLAND

Craig Nall needs 3 td's in his last 4 games to tie the all time record of 24 td's in a season.  Nall could break the record quite easily as he has been on fire this year and despite his teams 6-4 record Nall has been exceptional and is a possible FWL MVP this year.

BERLIN

Surely QB Jeff Rowe has the rookie of the year award to himself.  Rowe had a 4 td performance last week, all in the first half and Rowe has 14 td's on the year and is the 4th ranked QB. Not bad for a rookie !

AUSTRIA

Theres trouble in Austria.  GM Mario Kreiner who was once the mouth of the league with his tirades at other teams and players has been very silent and has been dejected with his team this year.  Kreiner who hinted earlier this year that this could be his last could be set to leave the team at the end of the season.  There have been talks with other GM's who are willing to take over Austria but it would be a huge shame if Kreiner left.

RHEIN

New GM Joe Scannella has been quiet with Rhein, he looks to be active in the draft and free agency but Scannellas impact has been minimal this year and the team are looking very poor.  Fans were excited when he was hired but so far he hasnt backed up his words about getting Rhein back to glory.

PARIS

Possible GM of the year ?  Paris are 5-5 and are one game out of the playoff race with 4 left to play. The trade with San Antonio earlier this year for LB Jasue and HB Collins could be the trade of the year.  Collins has been injured but has been decent when healthy and LB Jasue was a steal.
