Whos gonna make it besides Berlin and London?

AMS (8-4) (playing BER/LON)
PAR (7-5) (LON/SCO)
AUS (7-5) (SCO/BAR)
SCO (7-5) (AUS/PAR)

Tiebreaker-System:
1) Head-to-Head (if applicable)
2) Div WL-ratio
3) Cons W/L-Ratio

One thing is for sure: The teams will need a 9-5 to get into the POs!

Amsterdam has the toughest schedule. They would clinch it with a win vs. Berlin due to a good Div W/L but would need help if they "only" beat London instead...

Paris also has its destiny in its own hands: As they have the best Div-ratio they would enter the playoffs with 2 wins with a 9-5-record regardless of the outcome of other games.

If Austria wins both they still would need to hope for a Paris defeat in one of the 2 games. Or an Amsterdam defeat (as they are 1-0 in head/head...)

Scotlands hopes rely on 2 wins (which automatically would put both contenders AUS and PAR out of the piccture...)

cruel.....

My prediction:
POs won´t be decided until the final snap in week 14.....

I could always do a 'Mario' and rest my starters in Week 14 if i've already made the playoffs Wink

Paris - Austria WL
         Scotland W
         Paris L

Scotland - Austria W
               Paris L
              Amsterdam W

Austria - Paris WL
            Scotland L
            Amsterdam W

Amsterdam - Austria L
                   Scotland L
                  Paris W

Gonna be some huge tiebreakers the next two weeks !  Just hope the computer gets it right to stop any controversy (if people can prove its wrong i'll manually edit it)

he he....

history fires back right into my face... right?  Wink
i would not complain as i have done that for years (back in the days when i had a gooooood team.....)

Anyway:
McCulloughs loss might even spark my offense a little more as i will have to pass more. 3rd-down-situations will be the key....

2 amazing weeks ahead......

My prediction:

Amsterdam (not very good head/head-ratios and a tough, tough schedule) plus the loser of AUS/SCO will drop out....
But all in all i see a trillion options....

Difficult one for me as i'm still battling Berlin for the top seed so i'll have to play my starters probably all the way.  Even if Berlin lose this week and i win i still have to win the final week as Berlin hold the tiebreaker over me.  However if Berlin win this week and i lose then Week 14 is a 'nothing' game for me.

But i still have my personal goals for my team, i want Henson to have over 3000 yards, Hall to possibly win RB of the year and other players on defense.  TE Jeff Nicholson 'might' be able to play in Week 14 (Hes Q-2 at the moment so probably P-1 for Week 13) so i want to give him a game to see if hes okay for the playoffs as hes my starting TE.

Surprisingly with Miller out at FB, David Allen Jnr has done a great job at FB for me as Hall had a huge game this week.

Should be two very exciting weeks ahead.

Some exciting battles in the AFC coming up as well.  Did you read the bit of trivia about Birmingham QB Joe Hamilton ?  In his last 26 regular season games hes 23-3 for Amsterdam/Birmingham.  Theyre winning a lot of games defensively and do enough on offense with Hamilton/ReShard and Boone at WR.  Changing of the guard in the AFC ?

Week 13 - Thursday !

It is very close, and it seems that every potential play-off team has beaten every other team at least once. Paris have a tough run in - at Scotland and then London at home.

I thought I would blow it against Barca this week - I tried to send my roster changes to Paul yesterday, but my email was down. I had to get up at 6:30 this morning to try again - thankfully it worked and Thunder Collins was HB1 and got 100 yards.

By the way, watched the video from the Austria/Rhein game.  Sadly dont have time to edit them into a video file to put on the site.

But on the HUGE play where there is the fumble , Buck Rasmussan was unblocked and levelled Tony Hollings causing the fumble which potentially might have saved your season.

Its a shame there isnt a stat for who forced the fumble (just who recovered it).  But Rasmussan made a hugeeeee play there by forcing the fumble for Mayer to recover

I would say he is for sure.  Its like the NFL, Rasmussan might only have say 6 sacks and his partner has 12 but just like in the NFL Rasmussan would be double teamed as hes one of the best on your team so allowing another player to get the credit as he isnt double teamed.

If i have a player who has 12 sacks one year but just 6 the year after, IF there is another player on my d-line who suddenly improved i like to think its because my former star player was double teamed so thats why the other player (formerly unknown) did well.

Of course the logic in the game might not be like that but i like to think thats the way it works !

But yeah its a shame forced fumbles arent shown, just fumble recoveries.  Have to get Andrew to try and do something clever ! Wink

The play-by-play logs don't show exactly who forced the fumble, but you could assume it was the guy who made the tackle;

"Joe Bloggs is tackled by DE#99 Warren Fatt. Bloggs fumbles the ball. The ball is recovered by LB2 #56 Lawrence Failure."

All I'd need to do is go through every single play-by-play file and pull out all the plays where there was a fumble.

Would be great if thats possible !

Like you say the play by play says who made the fumble (its always the player who made the tackle).  In the real world it might be 2 players combining to make the hit but obviously in the software its just one.

If you could do that at all Andrew that would be great.  Its interesting seeing what players have the most fumble recoveries but knowing what players made hits which caused fumbles (whether an offensive or defensive player recovered the ball) would be interesting.

Career and season totals would be superb Wink

You'll have to send me all the play-by-plays from season 15 onwards, I think. I might have season 17 somewhere.

I've got "all" the others, except for two games which have gone missing!

UPDATE:

It is quite simple

Frankfurt is out
Austria is out
Sco needs to win against Paris, otherwise Paris is in

The Paris @ Scotland game will decide who gets the final play-off space. Should be a great match-up! We are taking about 10,000 fans over to Murrayfield for the game, and they are all meeting the Cheddarheads in the Cambridge Bar before the game!

All fingers (and toes) are crossed back in Paris!
