London Monarchs GM

WWW
« on: April 07, 2008, 11:10:46 AM »

The Monarchs took a risk this week, at 2-2 with their season slipping away they will move to a brand new offense, their first new offense for 3 seasons.  Their old offense which took them to the playoffs twice in two years is now gone and a more explosive passing game will be introduced.  Will it work ? Time will tell but the management have said they will give the new offense a month as players will take a while to get used to it.

WR Dan Sheldon has been a major disappointment this year, blazing speed but this week caught 2 passes for 26 yards and on the season has a 12.1 average and just 22 catches after 4 games.  The Monarchs hope their new offense will create some big plays as apart from one long run by TE Dan Curley the longest pass play throughout the team has been just 31 yards.  3 passing touchdowns in 4 games is also unacceptable.
