DE Jeff Haguza, Sacramento - Had moments with the Surge, traded to Ohio, has 35 sacks and shows spark
FB Jeff Chaney, Frankfurt - Blew out his knee in the offseason, two seasons with the Galaxy before retiring
T Scott Huff, San Antonio - Talented strong lineman, now traded to London where he is an All-FWL guard
DT Aubrayo Franklin, Amsterdam - Talented player but who retired after one season to start a ministry
S Ralph Parent, Mexico - Starting CB for Mexico, over 450 tackles, starts alongside Poteat

I am still upset about this retirement, with him I would have a dream dline for years (I drafted the year before Dliners Scott and Mitchell

Yes i never unretire players but i must admit in instances like that (And with Frankfurts FB Jeff Chaney) i should have a rule. If 1st round rookies dont play in their first 2 or 3 years then they shouldnt retire.  It the computer says they retire then i should unretire those. 

Many 1st round players in the NFL do sit on the bench for a year (or two perhaps) before starting.  Either way 1st round rookies get a 4 or 5 year deal and hardly ever ever retire in that period (unless theyre cut and theyre rubbish).  The Raiders Napolean Kaufman retired after his first contract to open a ministry.

But yeah mistakes from me really.  When i run the retirements and see the list i dont always know if someones a 1st rounder (i mean from the year before) but from now on i'll check

Ohh yes I agree, I was also very upset that I lost Chaney just 2 seasons later.
Not only was he my only draft pick for the first 4 rounds of EOS12 also I planed him to
become the running back duo partner with Skip Hicks (drafted 1 season before).

But he was not the only early retirement of a RB I ever had :-(

RB Alex Haynes retired after 3 season just before last season (I had traded for him after Chaney had retired)
FB Cory McIntyre retired after 3 season (just before I drafted Chaney)

I think I had more of them but have not the data available to look at it. It seems to be a kind of curse for Frankfurt to loose young RBs very early without reason.
