After last weeks avoidable loss against San Antonio something had to change with the Galaxy. However the big surprise was that the change did not happen within the defense that allowed 17 4th quarter points. But instead the Management promoted the QB coach to become the new offensive coordinator. The former coordinator officially stepped down because of health issues, however anonymous sources told us that he was axed because his run heavy gameplan, that helped the Galaxy to two FWL Bowl titles, was no longer in favour.

For the first time in many years the Galaxy will change their gameplan, away from a plan that worked so well in season 13 that the offense led by RB Joe Aska achieved many all time records. However recently the run offense struggled and a shift to a more pass freindly system was necessary. If this change will work will be tested against division rival and top team Amsterdam Admirals, a tough challenge.

GM Lambert told about his expectations: "I dont know if we can win with that change. Amsterdam is unbeaten and a very tough opponent. However even in a loss we will be able to see if our new plan does improove our abilities in the offense. Regarding the defense, well here we have not much options to make changes but we are talking with some teams to find a new player or two that can help our pass protection. Further offers are allways welcome."
