Last year GM Battye made some great moves, brought in former Riders HB Thunder Collins, some great defensive signings and Paris jumped from 0-14 to 8-6 and just missed out on a playoff berth but it was one of the greatest ever turnarounds.  The offense gelled and scored over 20 points 7 times last year 16 or more points 11 times in 14 games.

Now roll forward a year, much the same side but the offense has woefully struggled, in the first 7 games Paris have scored a maximum of 14 points in any one game, been held to single digits 3 times and only last week they managed to score more than 14 points (16) as the offense is ranked the worst in the league.

QB Ryan Dinwiddie who was superb last year has been in a slump this season and has been replaced by young Brad Banks at QB.  The team are 1-7 and are looking very bad, HB Thunder Collins isnt doing a bad job on the ground but leading WR Bradd Pyatt is averaging just 10.5 yards on 54 catches as the 'oomph' has gone from the passing attack.  Paris are the worst team at running the ball but much of that is because Paris have had to pass a lot to play catch up in games.

They are the worst team defensively against the run as teams have pounded it down their throats.  Looking at their defensive front and LB's they have a good squad but morale is low and Paris are playing very negatively at the moment.

What can change for Paris ?  They still have a lot of talent on the team, S Shawn S  Mayer has aged badly though and is one of the scapegoats for the teams poor showing.  He is the slowest starting safety in the league.  LB Ben Mahdavi, a potential star with the team is fed up at playing LB4 and wants to start.  The defensive line is good but at DT2 Terrance Martin just isnt big enough at tackle to stop the run and is aging, the team needs a big widebody to play alongside Felipe Claybrooks.

There is hope in Paris though as they have good talent in many areas but as for this season its a write-off and Paris have to bounce back next year

What's gone wrong? Very good question!

After last year, I thought we had a good team, so was very quiet in trading. I should have signed some more guys, obviously.

I think the main problems are in the defense - not enough turnovers, not enough 3rd down stops. The offense stinks, but it doesn't get any help. I'll rejig the rosters, and will listen to any serious trade offers!

Like you say after last year i thought you would do really well, cant understand why the offense is so bad as just two years ago Dinwiddie had over 4000 yards passing.  Still think hes a fine QB
