London fall yet again

After two straight playoff years and a tight playoff loss last year to eventual champions Amsterdam it looked like London would be even stronger this year. They signed speed TE Dan Curley and a very good young speedy WR in Dan Sheldon. They went with youth on the defensive line and traded DT Junior Ioane and Nick Burley.
The result ? The passing game has spluttered this year and the team cant stop the run.
"Its been very disappointing" said the London GM, "I expected much more from our team, I still feel we have a very talented roster but things havent gelled as quick as we wanted. You can see what might happen in the future once Henson and Sheldon play more together, they both had a great game this week"
London at 4-6 face a do or die game against rivals Austria next week, a win keeps them potentially in the playoff race, a loss and they'll be out and wont even have a winning record this year.
"I felt I made too many trades on offense" said Londons GM, "But i think next year after a training camp together the team should play far better and I think we'll bounce back"
And what about WR Christopher Liess who had 1 catch for 5 yards in his debut and 4 catches for 31 yards this week.
"Hes had a disappointing start, theres no question about that but i still feel we have a talented player to work with"

Not coincidentally, I believe Scotland just clinched a playoff berth, by virtue of having the tiebreaker over London if both were to finish 8-6. There may be some totally outrageous scenario where if RHE, AUS, LON, and SCO all finish 8-6 they wouldn't be in, but I have a hard time figuring out what that would be.
