My vote has to go to Orlando QB Jon Denton

In Season 11 he was named League MVP after a great season....

394  262  66.5  3,526  8.9  99  20   3 108.5

But then after just 2 games in Season 12 he was benched as Orlando were 0-2 and 1st round rookie QB Tony Romo played the rest of the season.  Denton finished with just...

81   46  56.8    506  6.2  44   1   3  64.1  13-82

This year funnily enough after a bad start to the season Romo was benched and back came Denton with some fine performances throwing for 4 td's a few times and i think even a 5 td game.  His final stats of....

388  276  71.1  3,560  9.2  79  21   4 113.3  34-232

Gave him for the 2nd time in 3 seasons AFC Offense Player of the Year !!!

YET not one person tried to trade for him last offseason when he could have come cheaply as a veteran backup.  SHAME !!!!

Denton was only in his 8th season this year and he could have been got as a bargain.  I know lots of GM's love the young players but some veterans like Denton can still play exceptional football.  I'm glad Denton came back and made such a great impression as it was a shame when he was a lowly backup in Season 12.

Yeah Anes definately deserves to be on the list.  But for me its Denton, MVP in Season 11, banished to the bench in Season 12 then made a great comeback this year to be AFC Off Player of the Year.

But Anes has gone from throwing the most ints in Season 12 to NONE in Season 13 !!!

I think the arrival of WR Matthew Hatchette in Austria was one of the key trades of the year.  One of the others was also an Austrian trade for DE Buck Rasmussan who has helped totally change your pass rush whether he has a big game or a quiet game then freeing up the others to make plays.

With Anes throwing NO ints this season it reminds me of another great trivia fact...

Name the only FWL QB to complete ALL of his passes in a game ?

The answer was Claymores QB Jim Ballard , as you can see in....

http://www.fwl.org.uk/steam2.htm#A15

Ballard completed 17 of 17 for 3 td's and a perfect QB rating.  Never qualified for the lead in percentage in a game as the minimum is 20.
