WR Shockman Davis, an 8th round draft pick, a 3rd round draft pick (Next season) (Frankfurt) for WR Mark Bartosic and a 4th round draft pick (Paris)

Good trade for both teams, Paris pick up a quality WR in Davis who could potentially start at WR2 or WR3 this year for the club.  Shockman has no receptions so far in his FWL career but has great speed, Frankfurt pick up Bartosic who has 8 catches for 123 yards in his career so far.  Davis was originally a 5th round draft pick by Austria and played for Austria in Season 13 and 14 and was a backup with Frankfurt this year.  Bartosic was originally a 3rd round pick by London at the end of season 13 and was one of the players taken over from London - Paris when their GM moved

To Raleigh: OL Ziemann plus DB Spears plus 4th round (FRA) plus 5th round (FRA)
To Austria: 1st round (AUS)

One of the best OL in the league, aging Guard Ziemann plus one of the best backup-DBs in the league S Spears plus two picks leave Austria in order to get GM Kreiner his own first round pick back.

Ziemann and Spears are not the youngst but will immediately start and will defenitely improve Raleigh, who should be a factor in season #16

Still talking your players up !  Not sure what to make of this trade and who got the best deal.  Zieman i wouldnt say is one of the best OL in the league, he hasnt been named All-FWL either of the last 3 years but on your team which is full of stars he fits in well.  I do think he will upgrade the Raleigh line but i think its a bit over the top to say hes one of the best OL in the league.

Spears was a good addition as he'll instantly be the fastest DB for Raleigh and can start straight away at S1 or CB1.   Quite a high price to pay but then again its the last pick of Round 1 so for trading that pick Raleigh do get two instant starters

Well I thought it was better to get two starters and two picks rather than one

starter in a draft which I expect will not be as good as last year and the players

are at two postions I need but many of my trades seem not to work out Sad

Dont get me wrong it wasnt a bad one, just Mario saying hes one of the best OL's in the league was a bit OTT !

However like you say you've got two starters, your secondary (like mine) has been decimated by retirements and you have automatically your best DB on a weak secondary.

There will be good draftees but just not as good as last year.  Still working on it

To Orlando: WR Jimmy Robinson and 3rd Round Draft Pick
To Birmingham: TE Joel Jacobs

Orlando pick up WR jimmy Robinson, a player that they had targeted earlier on in the offseason as they feel he is a player who will improve their offence considerably, hopefully putting up big numbers. They also acquire yet another pick for this years draft which they can use in order to help improve their roster for next season. Going in the other direction is TE Joel Jacobs a player that Birmingham had targeted for this offseason. Overall both teams seem extremley happy with the trade.

Very nice trade, the TE is a good player for Birmingham but when you have other young talented TE's on your roster you could afford to make that trade easily.  Backup TE3 Anelli has great HA of 91

With only 2 Orlando WR's with 90+ SP the trade for Robinson is a very good move, Robinson with his great speed could also be a great PR.

FRA gives:
this season 1st round pick

for RAL:
A  HB2    20  Lewis, Jonas             OK     6     91 90 88 88 87 83 83 81

Good trade for the Skyhawks.  They effectively have moved up a few places in the first round , grabbed two later draft picks, got two starters on the offensive line and secondary and it cost them a backup HB who with Alexander in the mix (even though he can be injury prone) Lewis was never going to get many carries.  Lewis could be the new starter with Frankfurt with perhaps Hicks moving back to FB.

Actually we should wait if Mark agrees to the trade (what i hope and believe) Smiley

If the trade is happen then, depending of outcome of the training camp, Lewis will start at FB and Hicks remains starting HB.

On my part its a bit of a risk, because the rookies are not published yet, so I may have get a better or at least younger player instead. However Lewis instantly would fill in a need I have and could help me 2-3 seasons at least.
So this is a trade for immediate help and against long term building of my team.

Well Lewis i think can be a very good player, has very good skills but he didnt have the best OL in his previous years starting with Raleigh.  Curtis Alexander is the main man now so Lewis is a luxury Mark can afford to trade.

Well I think that was one of the main problems with Lewis(the lake of a good O-Line)

but I do hope he playes well for Frankfurt (but not to well against the Skyhawks:))

To New York:
G Neal plus WR Black

To Austria:
2nd round pick (NY) plus OL Clabo

Austria digs another hole in its offensive line by giving away one of their starters and now only got 3 starters left from last season but gets a nice pick. ADK also gets young prospect Clabo in return, who will not start next season but is a promise for the future.

Neal is a good grab for NY as the market for good OL is very thin at the moment and with only 3 WRs on the roster NY needed to add some deph and adds young WR Black.

WR Anthony Bright (Paris) for a 3rd round pick and two 4th round picks (Birmingham)

While I didn't really want to part with Bright I did pick up some much needed draft picks

To Paris:
1st round (AUS) plus 2nd round (NY) plus 3rd round (BER)

To Austria:
1st roudn (PAR)

Austria gets it "usual" top draft-pick (3rd overall) in exchange for a couple of nice picks that could help Paris re-establish a future top-team....

Paul, i find it rather dangerous that BOTH the trade-page AND the draft-pick-page are not updated.
The FWL has been silent for many weeks now and once it all starts there might be troubles sorting things out that happend something like 2 or 3 months ago....

Even i have troubles to identify which draft-picks i have myself after all the trading i have done before. all i know is that the draft-pick-page is not near the actual status....

hope you find some time to update it
(btw: the GM-stats are not displayed in the updated version like you said ==> there must be a tecnical problem!)

New one:

To Raleigh:
WR Bell

To Austria:
2nd rounder, NEXT season

Bell, a WR4 in Austria could start in many teams and will do so in Raleigh..... Kreiner starts the season with a nice pick for next season......

LB Richard Adjei, a 3rd round pick this season and a 3rd round pick next year (London) for TE Ryan Prince, LB Derrick Ford and CB Devon Harper (Amsterdam)

Large trade involving both teams. Amsterdam get a great young prospect in LB Adjei who is very talented and two high draft picks. London get a great veteran TE who will start instantly, a young LB in Ford with good potential and defensive secondary help in Harper who again will start.

Latest:

To Raleigh:
LB Beutler

To Austria:
6th rounder (this season)
7th rounder (NEXT season)
8th rounder (NEXT season)

Good trade for both. Beutler could still start at some teams and will do fine this season. In return Kreiner gets some picks and opens up roster-space for the rookies......
