A place for you to put some of your teams best ever drafts, i'm starting off with probably the best ever Sacramento draft...
http://www.fwl.org.uk/drafteos4.htm1) WR Norris Blundin
Best Surge WR of all time, retired 4th all time in catches, 4th all time in yards and caught the 4th longest pass ever (90 yards). Won an FWL Bowl ring with the Surge.
http://www.fwl.org.uk/alltime.htm#nblundin2) T Paul DeMaria
Named All-FWL 3 times in Seasons 6, 9 and 12. Played 9 seasons for Sacramento and his final year with Barcelona. Won an FWL Bowl ring in FWL Bowl X.
2) DE Mike Sutton
http://www.fwl.org.uk/alltime.htm#msutton . Played 10 years with the Surge, named All-FWL 4 times in Seasons 7,9,10 and 11. Had 17 sacks as a rookie, averaged 11 sacks in the 8 years he started. Last two years was strictly a backup but still had 6 sacks in those two seasons.
3) LB Mike Scroggins
http://www.fwl.org.uk/alltime.htm#mscroggins . Played 6 years with the Surge and then 5 years with the Claymores. Played in two FWL Bowls, one a victory with the Surge, played in another with Scotland which was a loss. Had at least 50 tackles and 1 sack in 10 straight seasons.
4) CB Joe Hudson
One of the few mistakes of this draft. Never made the team, was a FA all year and finally retired.
5) HB Rene Ignolia
Originally drafted by Sacramento but then cut, went onto have a great career with Rhein and led the league in rushing in 2008.
http://www.fwl.org.uk/alltime.htm#rignolia5) FB Roel van Teefelen
Was the starting FB for Sacramento as a rookie, played 5 seasons as a FB then was moved to HB in Season 10 which was a great success, van Teefelen rushed for nearly 900 yards and scored 11 td's on the ground. Sacramento won FWL Bowl X but then the following season was surprisingly traded to Scotland. The Surge fan favourite finally came home late in his penultimate season.
6) P Brian Moorman
Finished 6th all time with a 38.8 net average and was 6th all time with over 37,000 yards punting ! Started immediately as a rookie for the Surge.
7) K David Akers
Still playing. 11 years with the Surge, currently ranks 5th all time with 929 points and has a chance to finish his career as one of the top 3 highest scoring kickers of all time.

QB Jan Seif
Cut but made the Barcelona roster the following year. Played with Barcelona for 6 seasons serving mainly as the backup to Dragons legend Jon Kitna. Was the backup QB in FWL Bowl IX , his career totals was 1 attempt, 0 completions in 6 years in the FWL but went to the playoffs 5 years, the only 5 times Barcelona have made the playoffs.
Out of 10 players drafted 7 became full time starters for more then 5+ years, another two players did well with other teams and only one player was a complete flop.
