i voted but i do not like this "public" voting as for 16 seasons it worked fine that the Comm made the decision.

with this public voting you most likely only get votes from the GM who take a look into the forum which might not reflect the "real" balance and likes/dislikes of GMs might be a factor......

anyway: Ohio is clear winner to me....

Well we've done it publically in the past when its been to close to call.  With my team going 12-2 i dont think i can announce myself as the winner !  I'll ask other people out there their views which is fair, normally i would choose but i do think this year with Ohio/Mon/Lon/Ams its very close.

Amsterdam were the top team in the EFC and after going 11-3 last year are 12-2 this year, 13-1 the year before.  6 regular season defeats in 3 years is amazing.

Ohio improved by 10 clear games, 4-10 to 10-4.  London improved from 5-8-1 to 12-2 (nearly 7 games) and were very good all round.

Berlin i doubt will win but Andreas did a great job as the team did look frankly awful the year before !

David has done a great job in keeping Montreal constantly winning with some great veterans hes loyal to and some talented young players.

I miss the name Mexico, for the first time since season 2004 a winning season as well as a Play off spot.

Oops yes my mistake !

Looking at the updated history page ( http://www.fwl.org.uk/history.htm#history) its been a long time for Mexico.

2004 they were 10-4 and a playoff spot.  Since then no winning seasons, two 7-7 seasons, the rest losing years but went 10-4 this year, improvement of two games from last year.  Two years ago they were 3-11, two years later 10-4 and off to the playoffs with a great defense and superstar HB Eric McCoo...

ok, good point but anyway none of us would complain if "Commish Johns" would really pick "GM Johns" to be the winner as long as we feel this is a right decision.

When i was awarded last time i did not feel to have deserved it but hey it was your decision.
Don“t be afraid, Paul: We know you can flip-flop sides: Commish vs. GM.

So if you think Londons GM deserves it - announce him. If not - then not.

Now that I think of it should this not be left to after the Bowl ?
As If Mexico win it Joe deffenantly deserves it and the same would apply with Ohio and Gary. But the same could be said for all the teams left Ie.If Montreal or Amsterdam won I think the winning team of the bowl usually has the best GM so I would vote for them

Yeah good point, an FWL Bowl victory to any of those teams could push them that bit further
