London Monarchs GM

London allowed a season high 28 points in the shootout to Orlando and promptly made some defensive changes.  Last year however Orlando was the only team to score 28 points or more on London !

The changes made were..

DE Eric Powell back to DE1 - Mark Word has done well with sacks this year and despite being in his 13th year has 4 sacks in 5 games to jointly lead the team.  Powell who is starting his first season for London has 4 sacks but the team like his quickness.

LB Bobby Brooks is having a fine year with 31 tackles (to lead the team) and 5 sacks (to lead the team) despite playing at LB3 !  Brooks is now moved to LB1 with Rodriguez moved to LB2 and rookie start Anthony Trucks at LB3.

In the secondary are the biggest changes as the unit is struggling . Long time starter Richard Yancey moves to S2 with Eric Hill Jnr as the starting safety.

Londons offense is ranked 7th and their defense 8th but both units are struggling with the pass.  On offense as Joe Hall is having a huge year the team arent passing so much but with a new TE1 and WR1 it seems to be taking some time to get their passing attack right.  On defense as the team have done well against the run opposing teams have passed more but the team are allowing a lot of yards through the air.

London have two games coming up against Berlin (0-5) and Paris (1-4) and need to win both.  They then face a tough two game stretch in which they face Austria and Amsterdam
