This seems quite familiar. Haves vs. have-nots in the EFC, pretty much everybody still in the race in the AFC.

Yeah unbelievable the amount of teams (bar one) still in the AFC race.
At the moment it looks a repeat of Mexico vs Amsterdam in the FWL Bowl. If Mex/Ams win next week dont think we've ever had two 10-0 teams in the same season.
Past streaks...
Season 1 - SA started 8-0 (finished 11-3)
Season 2 - Rhein started 7-0 (finished 11-3)
Season 5 - Austria started 8-0 (finished 11-3)
Season 6 - Austria started 9-0 (finished 13-1)
Season 7 - Rhein started 10-0 (finished 12-2)
(cant do anymore for now !)

Also, Mexico can clinch the AFC West next week with (feel free to check my math here) either a MEX win or a MON loss.
Mexico is 9-0 and the next teams in the division are at 4-5. The AFC West plays unbalanced schedules, and Mexico only faces its divisional rivals once each this year. It has won the first three, leaving only Montreal to go--so Montreal is the only team which can hope to win the head-to-head tiebreaker with Mexico. (The other teams can't win the divisional record tiebreaker either, since the worst Mexico can do is .750. The best the other teams can do in the division is .714.)
I'm pretty sure Mexico also needs at least one win to clinch an AFC playoff spot generally or some crazy permutation of "a loss by the team which wins the NY/Ohio game next week", since I think if Mexico loses out, Montreal wins out, and NY and Ohio win all of their not-head-to-head games, they would have tiebreakers over Mexico.
Looking pretty good for the Aztecs, is my point.

Amsterdam has done one better--it'll take them longer to clinch the East, but AMS has already clinched an AFC playoff berth.
If Amsterdam and London both finish at 9-5, AMS owns the head-to-head tiebreaker.
Can anybody remember a playoff clinch before Week 10? (Andrew, is that something the stat-o-matic can answer reasonably easily?)

Not sure if the database thingy can determine when someone made the playoffs - it is something to look into. I imagine it would be difficult, especially with all the tie-breakers that could come into play. No-one as ever determined what the tie-breakers actually are in FB-Pro!
Incidentally, I wrote an NFL results database program for my Computer Studies O-level back in 1987. My dad told me that the program needed to determine who had made the playoffs, but that was too hard to program for me. I wish I'd worked out how to do it now!

Is it easy to list the winning streaks ? Specially in any one season (not over two) ?
Would be interested who has the record

I have to say I’m very surprised Raleigh are in a playoff spot after week 9...especially with a 4-5 record and with my team not playing anywhere near there best...I do recon this week with Montreal is a REALY big one though due to head to heads….and I’m not very confident after recent weeks performances

Yeah will be a very tough game being on the road. Huge game for both teams. Even with a defeat neither team is out of it. Every team in the AFC (bar Sacramento) are in the playoff race, incredible
